The first visitor center for tourists opened in Balkhash

The development of tourism is one of the drivers of the economic growth of the regions, as noted in the message of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan. In the Karaganda region, the main points of attraction are the Balkhash and Karkaralinsk resort areas, where the flow of tourists is constantly growing. The first visitor center, which will become an information hub, has opened in Balkhash for the convenience of tourists.

The Visit Balkhash center is located on the embankment. Here you can get information about the sights of the Northern Balkhash region - from the natural beauties of Bektau Ata and Turang grove to museums. Consultants will help you choose routes, book a hotel or a recreation center, tell you where to try the famous Balkhash fish and buy souvenirs. The specialists speak three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.

The main goal is to make your vacation on the coast more comfortable and interesting. Brochures with marks of key tourist locations have been prepared.

According to the tourism department, a similar visit center is planned to be opened in Karkaralinsk. According to the ministry, by the end of the year, domestic tourism in the region is expected to increase to 450 thousand people, and inbound tourism to almost 40 thousand.
