Karaganda rowers won seven medals at the continental championship

Karaganda rowers brought seven medals from Thailand: three gold, three silver and one bronze. About 300 athletes from 15 countries competed in the Asian Rowing and Canoeing Championships. The continental championship was held among boys under 18 and juniors under 23.

The national team of Kazakhstan took the second overall place. And there is a significant contribution of Karaganda residents to this.

Denis Klenin (c1, 1000 m) won the gold medal. Dmitry Kholmogorov has twice reached the highest step of the podium (mix, 500 m; c2, 500 m).

In addition, Klenin and Kholmogorov jointly took second place (c4, 500 m).

Veronika Trapeznikova has two silver medals (c2, 500 m; c4, 500 m). Ulyana Ivanova won the bronze medal (c2, 500 m).
