Thanks to the development of the industrial zone, Saran is also developing: housing is being built, new business facilities are being opened and jobs are being created. Right now, vital issues are in the foreground: water, light, heat, sewerage, landscaping, cleanliness and order.

Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev discussed the development of the city at a meeting with residents.

The head of the region noted that the operation of the central heat source remains under control. Currently, 182 multi-storey residential buildings and 26 social facilities are connected to it. The mayor of Daryn Bulkayyr reported that they had begun to do indoor wiring to connect houses in the Gornyak microdistrict. The task is to switch completely to central heating.

– So that the residents don't have any questions, publish a schedule. Hold meetings, solve all issues together with the residents," Ermaganbet Bulekpaev instructed the city administration.

Another important issue is the stable supply of electricity. Orphan electric networks have been taken into communal ownership – 32 objects. Funds have been allocated from the city budget for the repair of power transmission lines and feeders. The restoration of street lighting continues: more than 400 new lighting poles will be installed in Sarani this year.

Attention is being paid to improving the transport infrastructure. According to the mayor of the city, 11 streets in Saran and the Aktas village will be repaired this year. Reconstruction of the overpass through the railway on the route to the RTI is envisaged. In addition, there are plans to build a bypass road from the industrial zone to Karaganda. This is necessary so that heavy trucks do not load the existing highway.

Residents complained about the busy route 165, which goes to the regional center, and asked to add a bus. The akim of the region gave the task to figure it out and find the optimal solution.

Issues of facade repair and playground improvement were raised at the meeting.

The akim of the city noted that the appearance of the city is improving together with the residents: according to the "Budget of National Participation" this year, 11 projects are being implemented with the arrangement of playgrounds, playgrounds and sports grounds. A playground has already been installed in Dubovka. A football and volleyball courts have been built in the Planovoy village for sports enthusiasts. A new park will appear on Zhambyl Street, and modern play complexes will be installed in Sunkar Park and near the House of Culture.

Daryn Bulkayyr also spoke about the renovation of schools. By the new academic year, three educational institutions will be overhauled in the city. The work includes replacement of the roof, facade, and heating system. Another ten schools have ongoing repairs.
