On October 29 of this year, a seminar-meeting was held in the Karaganda region with the participation of the chairman of the regional election commission Nurkenov Kairat Karshigaevich on the preparation and conduct of early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for November 20 of this year.
The event was attended by released members of territorial election commissions, heads of akims' offices, and employees of other state bodies of the region.
During the seminar-meeting, the issues of preparation for the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for November 20, 2022, and the tasks facing the election commissions of the region during the organization of work on clarifying voter lists and issuing absentee ballots by precinct election commissions were discussed.
At the seminar-meeting, attention was paid to the organization of electoral training for members of the electoral process, the observance of the electoral rights of persons with disabilities and the organization of control by territorial election commissions over the work of local executive bodies to improve approaches to the formation of information about voters based on the State Database "Individuals".
Following the results of the seminar, an exchange of views took place, tasks and directions for further improvement of the work of election organizers were identified.
Chairman of the regional election commission Nurkenov K.K. noted that territorial and precinct commissions are the main component of the electoral system, it is they who ensure the local implementation of election legislation, its uniform application.
