On October 27 this year, the Chairman of the Regional Election Commission Nurkenov K.K. and members of the Regional Election Commission met with long-term observers of the ODIHR/OSCE Mission Elzbieta Kinga Swidrowska (Poland), Pavlo Cherkashyn (Ukraine).
Chairman of the regional election commission Nurkenova K.K. told about all stages of the campaign and the actions of the election authorities in the period from September 21 to November 20 of this year.
The meeting discussed such issues as the calendar plan of the main events in preparation for the early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the main stages of the campaign.
Representatives of the ODIHR/OSCE Mission was informed about the main changes in the electoral legislation introduced in 2017-2022, attention was paid to the organization of electoral training for members of the electoral process, the observance of electoral rights and measures to ensure conditions for voters with special needs when voting in the presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 20, 2022. An exchange of views took place on the issues of the electoral process and the preparation of election commissions and polling stations for the voting day. Questions were asked, to which exhaustive answers were given.
