An online seminar on the topic “KazTEST Tapsyru Daғdyssyn Kalyptastyr Zholdary” was held

In accordance with the events’ plan for 2020 from April 20 to 24, p.y. on the Zoom platform, an online seminar was held on the topic: “Ways to build KazTEST passing skills” with the aim of providing methodological assistance to specialists passing tests on levels B2 and C1 based on the KazTEST system. The seminar was conducted by the developer of the educational section of the KazTEST system, the head of the department of the Resource Language Center, the master of pedagogical sciences Zhakanova Zhupar Ryskulovna.

The seminar was attended by students tested by district and city, teachers of language training centers, specialists of language development departments.

In the line indicated in the State Program for the Implementation of the Language Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020 - 2025, the share of government employees and employees of organizations providing public services who speak the state language at a certain level determined by the KazTEST system is specified. With this in mind, the online seminar paid attention to such topics as increasing the prestige of the state language, the effectiveness of this system in assessing the knowledge of the listener, as well as the reasons for not fulfilling test tasks in accordance with the rules and often made mistakes.

The requirements of the KazTEST parts were agreed upon, the system of tasks on the practical parts of the Listening, Reading, Writing and the Lexical-grammatical part was analyzed.

As a result of the seminar, the participants received all the necessary methodological assistance in the form of handouts for passing tests on the KazTEST system.
