As of 11.05.2020 on the territory of the Karaganda region, there are 398 permits for attracting foreign labor, including 10 units for the first category, 73 units for the second category, 185 units for the third category, 118 units for the fourth category, and 12 units for intra - corporate transfer.

Of these, 271 people are involved in construction, and 104 people are involved in mining and manufacturing. and for other types of economic activity-23 people.

Foreign labor force attracted such companies as JSC "ArcelorMittal Temirtau" , JSC "Karcement", etc.
