Type of activity: medical and social institution is intended to provide special social services aimed at improving their individual development, socialization and integration in accordance with the standard for providing special social services in the field of social protection of the population in a hospital setting, taking into account the individual needs of service recipients (disabled people over eighteen years of age with psychoneurological diseases).
Staff size: standard for providing special social services in the field of social protection of personnel in accordance with the institution's staff standards. There are 159 people in total. 154 actually works. Vacancies of 5 units. This is a labor instructor, music worker, social work specialist, accountant. All employees of the institution go on leave in accordance with the approved schedule.
The institution consists of a two-story building: residential and administrative. In a residential building is home to the 193 wards. On the first floor there is a women's Department, a medical Department, a canteen, a nurse, a hairdresser, a psychologist, and a defectologist's office.
The women's Department has 28 rooms, a social service room. The medical Department has a therapist, neuropathologist, dentist, paramedic, physio, massage, treatment rooms, quarantine room, room for visiting relatives.
On the second floor of the men's Department there are 36 rooms, a treatment room, an Assembly hall, an organizer's cult room, and a tennis room.
The administrative building houses offices of managers and maintenance personnel, warehouses, a library, a library, an occupational therapy room, and a pharmacy warehouse.
On the territory of the institution there is a bath and Laundry complex, a boiler room, warehouses for storing food, and a garage.
In 2019, there were 201 people with disabilities in care. Of these, 117 are men and 84 are women. They are disabled people of groups 1 and 2 with psychoneurological diseases, unable to live independently and in need of special social services in a hospital due to diseases. 23 people were replaced. Of these, 2 women were transferred to the KSU "Psychoneurological medical and social institution of Sarani city" at the request of relatives, the remaining 21 people were transferred to the KSU"Psychoneurological medical and social institution of Abay city".

At the beginning of 2020, there were 185 incapacitated wards with disabilities.
For the first half of the year, 12 people were accepted, 8 of them men and 4 women.
Of these, 7 people came from home, the remaining 5 - from social institutions of the Karaganda region.
Between 2019 and 2020, 3 men died. Cause of death: unknown. Encephalopathy, right kidney cancer c 64, sudden death R 96.0.
