A new digital document – "Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is available in the eGov Mobile application. The electronic document is available only for Kazakhstani citizens.

A digital passport can be used in the eGov Mobile application to identify an individual the same as with a national ID. At the moment, the digital document "Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is allowed to be used only within the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In case if a digital passport contains incorrect information, you can submit an appeal to a relevant government agency via e-Otinish by clicking "Report an Error" button.

“Digital Documents is one of the most popular services in the eGov Mobile app. Today, it is convenient to use a digital document in your smartphone in the absence of an original copy of a document. The digital passport is implemented based on numerous requests from the app users. The new document can be used along with a digital national ID. For instance, if you have lost your national ID or it has expired, in this case you can use a digital passport as an alternative” said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

To find a new digital document, you need to log in to the eGov Mobile app, find "Digital Documents" section on the homepage and click "Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (Figures: 1, 2).
