Dear employees of the mining and metallurgical industry!

I congratulate you on the day of Metallurgist!

For us, the sparkling stream of molten metal is a symbol of the profession, and for the metallurgists themselves - the end result of a lot of hard and strenuous work. A powerful plant, sophisticated equipment and technologies, a modern scientific base and, of course, thousands of highly professional specialists - this is what metallurgy is all about.

The role of the mining and metallurgical industry in the fate of Balkhash is huge. Thanks to the fire industry, a city appeared on the shore of the lake, and skilled, knowledgeable, hard-working people, who now form the basis of the population of Balkhash, came to us and put down strong family roots. Metallurgy has awakened our region, and for many decades the music of labor has not ceased over it.

Dear metallurgists, miners, and concentrators! We know that in your business there are no people who are indifferent, lazy or incapable. Each of you in your place is a true master. The Balkhash people deeply respect you and are proud of you, as I am.

We wish you good health, happiness, success in your work, and let one of the most important centers of non - ferrous metallurgy in Kazakhstan-Balkhash-develop and grow stronger.

Akim of Balkhash town, O. K. Taurbekov
