On increasing pensions and benefits from 01.01.2021

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Republican Budget for 2021-2023" from January 1, 2021, the following indicators are established:
Monthly calculation index – MCI) - in the amount of 2,917 tenge;
Minimum pension – 43,272 tenge;
The minimum amount of the basic pension payment is 18,524 tenge;
Subsistence minimum (PM) – 34,302 tenge;
The minimum wage is 42,500 tenge.
Starting from January 1, 2021, the amount of pension payments for old age and for long service has been increased by 7% of the amount received.
The maximum income taken into account for calculating the amount of newly assigned pensions in 2021 cannot exceed 46 times the MCI (134,182 tenge).
The amounts of state social benefits, including for persons living in medical and social institutions and in correctional institutions, are established in the amounts provided for in Articles 12, 16 and 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of June 16, 1997 No. 126 "On State Social benefits for Disability and loss of Breadwinner in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and increased in connection with the increase in the subsistence minimum (hereinafter - PM).
The amount of state special benefits on List # 1 and # 2, a lump sum of state aid in connection with the birth of the child, state benefits for child care up to the age of one year of special state benefits, state benefits for mothers of large families awarded with pendants "Altyn Alka", "Kumasaka" or got before the rank "Mother-heroine" and awarded the order of "Maternal glory", state allowances to mnogoletnyaya with four or bluesblast living minor children, including children, students in full-time education in the organizations of secondary, technical and vocational, secondary, higher and (or) post-graduate education after they reach adulthood to the time of completion of educational institutions (not longer than before achievement of age of twenty-three), and awarded but not paid a one-time monetary compensation to victims of nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test aderenaline and victims of mass political repression, increased with the increase of the minimum calculation index.
The amount of the state allowance to parents, guardians raising disabled children, and the state allowance to families (persons) caring for a disabled person of the 1st group since childhood have been increased since January 1, 2021 due to the increase in the PM.
The size of the state basic pension payment from January 1, 2021 increased due to an increase in the value of the PM.
The amount of the state basic pension payment from January 1, 2021 is established in accordance with Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Pension Provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan" as a percentage of the new amount of the PM.
Social payments from the State Social Insurance Fund (SSSF) for cases of disability and loss of a breadwinner have been increased by 5%.
In this regard, assigned to the 01.01.2021 D. monthly benefits to the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan after the period of capitalization of payments on compensation of the harm caused to life and health of employees legal entities, liquidated due to bankruptcy from 1 January 2021 increased by 5% resulting size.
From January 2021, the retirement age for women is 60 years old.
Please note that the appointment of pension payments to women from 01.01.2021 is provided for when they reach the retirement age of 60 years, since in 2022 women will have the right to be appointed only when they reach 60 years and 6 months. So, for example, a woman born on 23.10.1961, who did not apply for the appointment of age pension payments in the period from 23.10.2021 to 31.12.2021, in 2022, the right to a pension will come when she reaches 60 years and 6 months, that is, only from 23.04.2022.
Except for women who are eligible for early retirement benefits:
 - according to Article 11, paragraph 2 Laws
Citizens living in areas of extraordinary and maximum radiation risk during the period from 29 August 1949 to 5 July 1963 at least 5 years in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On social protection of citizens suffered from nuclear tests on Semipalatinsk the proving nuclear ground" are entitled to retirement benefits by age:
1) men – at the age of 50 years;
2) women – after reaching the age of 45.
 according to paragraph 3 of Article 11 of the Law :
Women who have given birth (adopted, adopted) 5 or more children and raised them up to the age of eight are entitled to age pension payments upon reaching the age of 53.
