In order to strengthen the social protection of vulnerable groups of the population, measures are being taken to ensure their timely and full coverage with social support measures.
Since the beginning of current year, targeted social assistance (hereinafter - TSA) has been assigned and paid to 52 families (224 people) for a total amount of 10.7 million tenge (including 16 large families, 103 people). In comparison with the same period in 2020, the indicator was reduced by 15 families-recipients of TSA (5 months in 2020-67 families. 310 people, including large families-24 families. 162 people).
Guaranteed social packages (food packages and hygiene products) were issued to 53 children aged 1-6 years from 38 low-income families, totaling 1.5 million tenge.
There are no arrears in the payment of targeted social assistance and the issuance of a guaranteed social package.
Since March 1 of this year, the acceptance of applications for the appointment of TSA is carried out additionally through the portal of "Electronic Government" (PEP), as an alternative to receiving documents through the Employment Center and the akimats of settlements.
In order to eliminate dependency, TSA is provided to able-bodied low-income citizens, subject to their participation in employment promotion measures. Employment measures covered 10 low-income citizens (1 person-employed for a permanent job, 8 people-sent to public works, 1 person-sent to a social workplace).
In general, since the beginning of this year, 270 families have been covered by various types of social assistance for a total amount of 14.5 million tenge. Among them: in the form of targeted social assistance-52 families (10.7 million tenge), material support for disabled children studying at home-24 families (0.5 million tenge), housing assistance covered 123 families (1.3 million tenge), social payments were received by 71 people who got into a difficult life situation (2.0 million tenge).
