The head of the district took part in the reporting meeting of the head of the police department of the Abai district Bakayev T.K. with the population.

The police of our region managed to achieve certain results of work last year: to reduce the number of general registration of crimes and increase their detection.
Such projects as "Safe Yard", "Neighborhood supervision" and video monitoring system have proven their effectiveness.
However, we have not been able to achieve a reduction in some types of crimes. In this connection, the head of the district has given a number of specific instructions. The police authorities need to focus on crime prevention - on taking preventive measures, changing the image of the police (the population should perceive the police services not as a punitive institution, but as those who can be trusted and asked for help, every resident should know his precinct officer in person).
The cooperation of residents with law enforcement agencies is also one of the main links in solving the tasks set, the police, in turn, should not lose touch with society.
