The head of the district met with representatives of the PU "Energougol" JSC "ArcelorMittal Temirtau" on the issue of replacing 5 km of water main pipes within the framework of the investment project.
The existing networks built in 1972 are worn out and require reconstruction.
Akimat is working on the replacement of intra-city networks, however, high-quality water supply will be possible when replacing the main pipes leading from the Zhartas water intake, which are on the balance sheet of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC.
The company's management decided to replace the worn-out sections of the networks in order to improve the water supply of the city of Abai.
Reconstruction will be carried out from Zheleznodorozhnaya Street to ul. Industrial, will be launched in August this year. It is planned to complete the work in November of this year.
