Akim of Karaganda region Kassymbek Zh.M. visited Abai district on a working trip.

Zhenis Makhmudovich visited a number of construction, education and healthcare facilities.
The akim of the district acquainted the head of the region with the progress of construction of five-storey houses in Abai, where finishing works are already being completed, and an 18-apartment house in Topar village, in which all infrastructure communications have been brought to date. These facilities are planned to be put into operation this year.
The next point of the visit was the Abai Multidisciplinary College, which since this year has been located in a newly renovated academic building with all the necessary infrastructure, with the latest agricultural equipment. More than 600 students study at this college.
In the village of Topar, the leadership of the region also visited the Central District Hospital, in the building of which major repairs were carried out. The hospital has a capacity of 80-bed hospital for patients with coronavirus infection, in addition to a 71-bed specialized hospital.
Then the guests were introduced to the technopark for school-age children, located at the P.Kornienko School-Center for Additional Education in the village of Topar. About 360 schoolchildren visit the Technopark.
In conclusion, the akim of the region held a meeting at which further plans for the current year aimed at the socio-economic development of the Abai district were announced. The leadership of the region has set tasks that are planned to be implemented in the near future in close cooperation with authorized regional structures.
