Representatives of the Territorial Department of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control in the East Kazakhstan region visited Ust-Kamenogorsk Thermal Power Plant as part of monitoring the implementation of the 2024 repair campaign, as well as preparations for the upcoming autumn-winter period

In accordance with the approved schedule of repairs of the main and auxiliary equipment, it is planned to carry out major repairs at boiler unit No. 13 and turbine unit No. 11, extended routine repairs of boilers No. 8, 10, 14 and 15, completion of repair of the cooling tower section No. 3, major repairs of reduction cooling units No. 14 and 15, reconstruction of the control unit. By turbine units № 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 ongoing repairs are planned.

 

To date, the Ust-Kamenogorsk thermal Power plant has completed current repairs on turbine unit No. 7. Major repairs are being carried out on boiler unit No. 9 and ongoing repairs of boilers No. 11, 12 and turbine unit No. 9 and repair of the cooling tower of section No. 2.

 

Repair work is carried out with the involvement of contractors VK Stroy Service LLP, Irtysh Temir Stroy LLP and BAUMAX LLP. A total of 148 people are involved in the repair work.

All repairs of the main and auxiliary equipment are carried out according to the approved deadlines.
