The progress of repair work at the Petropavlovsk CHPP of SEVKAZENERGO JSC

Representatives of the Territorial Department of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control in the North Kazakhstan region visited Petropavlovsk CHP-2 of SEVKAZENERGO JSC as part of monitoring the implementation of the 2024 repair campaign, as well as preparations for the upcoming autumn-winter period.

In accordance with the approved schedule of repairs of the main equipment, major repairs are planned at boilers No. 1 and 9, at turbine units No. 3 and 6, completion of construction (restoration) of chimney No. 1, as well as reconstruction of boiler unit No. 2 and turbine unit No. 1. Ongoing repairs are planned for the rest of the main and auxiliary equipment.

To date, the Petropavlovsk CHP has completed ongoing repairs on turbine units No. 2 and 4. Major repairs are being carried out on boiler unit No. 9 and turbine unit No. 3. Due to the large volume, the deadline for completing repairs on boiler unit No. 9 has been extended until May 25 this year.

Repair work is carried out with the involvement of the contractor SAEM-Petropavlovsk LLP. In total, 96 people working in two shifts are involved in the repair work.
