Training course on the topic: "Configuration management of the physical protection system"

The Threat Reduction Agency of the US Department of Defense jointly with the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee)
conducted a training course "Configuration Management of the physical protection system" from June 12 to 16 this year.

The purpose of this training course was to establish cooperation in the field of nuclear security in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to understand the issues of managing the configuration of the physical protection system, managing changes and processes in ensuring physical protection.

Specialists of state bodies and specialists of organizations dealing with issues in the field of nuclear physical security were invited to participate in this event, namely:

National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Committee;
RSE on PCV "National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
RSE on PVC "Institute of Nuclear Physics" of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Ulba Metallurgical Plant JSC;
LLP "MAEK".

According to the results of the event, participants were provided with a certificate confirming the completion of the above training course.
