Measures to improve the indicator "Connection to the power supply system" of the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum

In order to improve Kazakhstan's performance in the ranking of the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum (hereinafter referred to as the WEF GIC), as well as as part of the implementation of a Comprehensive plan of measures to improve indicators in this rating by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
- monthly monitoring of the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of electric power industry is carried out in terms of issuing technical specifications, approving design solutions and concluding an electricity supply contract, as well as reliability of the quality of electricity supply to consumers;
- on a monthly basis, legal explanatory work is being carried out on the measures taken by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at improving business activity in the country, reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers and improving Kazakhstan's position in the WEF GIC in terms of the indicator "Connection to the power supply system".
In order to simplify the procedure for connecting to power supply networks, the Territorial Departments of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as Departments) are constantly carrying out work on the implementation of legal explanatory work, providing information on connecting consumers and conducting a survey of consumer satisfaction with the quality of electricity supply.
The Department for the city of Shymkent held a meeting on November 25, 2022 on the measures taken to improve the indicators of the WEF GIC.
The Department of Almaty Region held a meeting on November 9, 2022 on the measures taken to improve the indicators of the WEF GIC.

The Department of East Kazakhstan Region published an article in the newspaper "Flash" on November 23, 2022.
The Department for Zhambyl Region held a meeting on November 24, 2022 on the measures taken to improve the indicators of the WEF GIC.
