Announcement of XIX Secretariat of the Congress of world leaders and traditional religions

Dear journalists!

October 6, 2021 in Nur-Sultan, in the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, chaired by the Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions – Maulen Ashimbayev, the XIX session of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will be held.

Within the framework of the Secretariat meeting, it is planned to exchange views on the results of the VI Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, as well as discuss the agenda, determine the exact date of the upcoming VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in 2022.

On the eve of the XIX Secretariat of the Congress, on October 5, 2021, a meeting of the Working Group of the Secretariat of the Congress will be held under the leadership of Chairman of the Management Board of N. Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational dialogue, Commissioner for promoting the goals and objectives of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Bulat Sarsenbayev.

Spiritual leaders of world and traditional religions from Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Shintoism, as well as representatives of international and religious organizations – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, UAE, Egypt, Israel, Vatican, Great Britain, Mongolia, China, Japan, Thailand, India, USA and other countries – are expected to participate in the work of the XIX Secretariat of the Congress.
