The head of the MISD of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with representatives of the Almaty media community

Today on April 25, the Head of the MISD of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Umarov held a working meeting with representatives of the Almaty media community to discuss approaches to the revision of media legislation.

The event was attended by the heads of print publications, TV channels and Internet resources.

 

In his speech, the Minister noted that within the framework of the President's address, the Ministry was tasked with reviewing the sectoral legislation.

In general, during the discussion, a common understanding of a number of mechanisms for reviewing media legislation was determined.

 

In addition, Askar Umarov called on the participants of the meeting to make their proposals and take an active part in the development of the bill.

It should be noted that currently the Ministry receives proposals on the revision of legislation from citizens and organizations.
