An online Measures media development conference was held in Kazakhstan

An online conference dedicated to the measures media development in Kazakhstan was held today chaired by the Vice-Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kemelbek Oishybayev.

 

The event was attended by representatives of Kazakh TV channels, advertising sellers, industry associations, research companies, as well as a wide range of media industry experts.

 

Kemelbek Oishybayev subtotaled the recent work since last year under the auspices of the Ministry. Vice Minister noted that the integration of measuring panels an online service was launched on the Ministry's website in May 2021, where whoever wishes to refer with the operational data of TV measurements in real time. «At the same time the issue of coverage of rural settlements by TV cameras is being worked out» - K. Oishybayev said.

In addition, during the conference it was reported that in the first half of the year the Ministry of Information and Social Development together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry worked out the issue of including in the national project «Digital Lifestyle – DigitEL» the indicator «Availability of a measuring panel to reach the audience of rural settlements by the measures media system» and the related activity «Implementation of the project to reach the audience of rural settlements by the measures media system».

 

The discussion at the online conference was meaningful. There was a professional discussion between the participants. Thus, Ekaterina Kocheva performed on the problem of the volatility of the TV measurements, Lyazzat Suyindik spoke about the importance of improving the system of TV measurements, while Dilmurad Rakhimov touched on topical issues of interaction between participants of the media and advertising industry, Tatyana Startseva commented about current approach towards the organization and conduct TV measurements, and Andrey Boyarinov spoke on the topic «On current approach towards the organization and conduct TV measurements».

 

At the end of the event Kemelbek Oishybayev underlined that all participants of the conference focus on one outcome and it is clear from the discussion that everyone is not indifferent to how the system of measures media will develop in the country.

He noted that the Ministry is always open to the wishes and emerging issues of the development of the measures media system in Kazakhstan.
