The Chief Military Prosecutor, Lieutenant General Dastan Sartayev, noted a positive decrease in individual crimes in the army (hooliganism, bribery, robbery, etc.).
The work of military prosecutors to protect the rights of over a thousand servicemen in obtaining medical insurance and about a thousand students of military departments who overpaid 180 million tenge for their studies, repayment of salary arrears of more than 4 thousand employees by 357 million tenge, as well as the realization of housing rights of 460 military pensioners was positively assessed.
In the coming period, military prosecutors are tasked with strengthening preventive work together with the military command, ensuring the principle of "zero tolerance", observing the constitutional rights of citizens, improving the quality of preliminary investigation and participation in courts.
In the field of protection of public interests, the main emphasis is placed on ensuring safety in the circulation of weapons and ammunition, compliance with their storage conditions, predictive and analytical work, integrity in decision-making.
