An official of the branch of JSC" KTZ " was sentenced to 7 years

The Shu district Prosecutor's office during the examination of audit of financial-economic activities of the "Sary-Shagan track" had 16 million US dollars.the fact of theft of tenge was revealed.

Thus, in accordance with accounting documents, 11.3 million us dollars were allocated for areas requiring repair, as well as 4.6 million us dollars in the amount of 32 thousand liters of fuel was spent on the needs of the enterprise.

However, the audit showed that the former Director of "Sary-Shagan distance of the way" JSC " KTZ " kydyrbayev independently realized the above-mentioned material values and spent the received funds for his own needs.

According to the results of the pre-trial investigation, kydyrbayev was transferred to the court under paragraph 2 of part 4 of article 189 of the Criminal code.

By the verdict of the Priozersky city court of the Karaganda region of 26.12.2019, he was found guilty and sentenced to 7 years of probation with deprivation of the right to hold financially responsible positions in any form of organization for a period of 5 years.

In this sentence, the Prosecutor's office submitted an appeal in connection with the violation of the ban on probation for a corruption crime and other norms of Criminal procedure legislation.

By the decision of the judicial Board for criminal cases of the Karaganda regional court of 11.02.2020, the court's verdict was changed, the suspended sentence against Kydyrbayev was canceled.

Now he is serving his sentence in an institution of the medium security penal system.

Kydyrbayev is also banned for life from holding positions in state bodies and organizations.
