Ex-official of JSC " NC " KTZ " sentenced to 7 years in prison

In 2018, he managed to illegally enrich his official powers (article 361 of the criminal code) and received a bribe by extortion repeatedly in person and through an intermediary in the amount of 40 million us dollars. the criminal case was terminated by mediation (p. 1, 2, part 3 of article 366 of the criminal code of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

In January 2019, the court No. 2 of the saryarkinsky district of Nur-Sultan postponed the execution of the sentence for 1 year at the request of the convicted person.

After the end of the period of deferral granted by the court (i.e. on 28.12.2019), the convicted person was not able to pay the fine in full (only us $ 6.8 million).tenge).

Only after the intervention of the transport Prosecutor by the decision of the district court of 03.03.2020, the convicted person was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

13.05.2020 the complaint against this decision of the court was left without satisfaction.
