"Fly Arystan" may be held liable for violating the rights of minors

The Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office of the city of Almaty conducted an inspection of the activities of the airline JSC "Fly Arystan" on issues of compliance with the rights of passengers.
The audit showed that the airline did not apply special 50% benefits for underage passengers aged 2 to 12 years when selling tickets for international flights.
For example, from January to October 2022, more than 3 thousand minors were transported to international destinations at standard tariffs.
On the recommendation of the Prosecutor's Office, the Civil Aviation Committee has drawn up an administrative protocol against the airline under Article 571 part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
The collected materials were reviewed by the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offenses of Almaty, which adopted a resolution on bringing the Airline to administrative responsibility for violating the rules of passenger transportation on 02/16/2023.
The judicial act has not entered into legal force.
