According to the act of the prosecutor's office environmental damage in the amount of more than 141 million tenge was recovered

The East Kazakhstan Transport Prosecutor's Office during the inspection revealed violations of environmental legislation during the reconstruction of the section of the highway of republican significance "Kalbatau-Maykapshagai".
On the recommendation of the transport prosecutor, the authorized body filed a claim with the Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of Astana for recovery of damage caused to the environment from the contracting organization "Chinese Company for Construction and Development of Xinxing" LLP.
In particular, the company's activities with a source of pollutants into the atmosphere were carried out according to a working project without the conclusion of the state environmental expertise.
According to the court decision that came into force, the foreign company paid the amount of 141,658,146 tenge to the state income, thereby the measures taken by the prosecutor's office compensated the damage to the environment in full.
