A seller of psychotropic substances was sentenced to 10 years

Under the coordination of the Aktobe Transport Prosecutor's Office, the linear police department at the Aktobe station revealed facts of the sale of synthetic narcotic drugs on a particularly large scale.

At the beginning of this year, during the operational search activities along the railway tracks of the Gineshke-Aktobe stations, a citizen M. was detained at the time of laying narcotic drugs.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched on this fact under Article 297, part 3, paragraphs 1,3, 5 (sale of psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The investigation established that citizen M. had been selling drugs over the Internet for several months within the city of Aktobe, pre-packaged them for doses and made "bookmarks".

In a short time, the investigation was completed and within the framework of the three-tier model of the criminal process, the prosecutor's office agreed on key procedural decisions, an indictment was drawn up and the case was sent to court.

By the verdict of the court No. 2 of the city of Aktobe dated 01.06.2022, citizen M. was found guilty of selling drugs on a particularly large scale and imprisoned for a period of 10 years.

It should be noted that narcotic drugs (including psychotropic drugs) have a specific effect, primarily on the nervous system, as well as on the entire human body, after repeated doses of "doses" in a short time, severe medical consequences of chronic poisoning of the body develop (damage to internal organs, nervous system, brain, mental disorders).

The fight against the sale and use of drugs is a priority area of the work of law enforcement agencies and is under constant control.
