Transport Prosecutor awarded
for military merit
On the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the presentation of the books "Chronicles of the national secret Service" and "State Border" was held in all regions of the country.
Each of these books describes the stories and presents the heroes who have made and still make an invaluable contribution to ensuring the national security of the state and protecting the borders of our Motherland. Unfortunately, some of them fulfilled their official duty at the cost of their own lives.
On September 28, 1994, a battle took place on the Tajik-Afghan border. On that day, more than 200 armed militants from the Hakim gang tried to break through the border, but border guards stood in their way.
In the battle, nineteen-year-old junior sergeant Rajan Batyrkhanov diverted the forces of the militants to himself, courageously, coolly completing the combat task.
The border guard was killed, but saved the lives of all the other colleagues who repelled the militants' attack.
Batyrkhanov was posthumously awarded state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tajikistan, and a border outpost and one of the streets in Katon-Karagai in the East Kazakhstan region are named after him.
Yerzhan Zhumadilov, now the deputy of the Semey Transport Prosecutor of the Main Transport Prosecutor's Office, was among those who took part in this battle of the Kazakh Consolidated Battalion.
Yerzhan Zhumadilov was awarded the medal "Ulttyk kauipsizdikti kamtamasyz etudegi ulesi ushin" for his bravery and courage by order of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 30, 2021, in the city of Semey, the Deputy head of the PS Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for East Kazakhstan Region, Colonel Serik Rakhimov, solemnly presented Yerzhan Zhumadilov with the medal of the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that the Junior Adviser of Justice Yerzhan Zhumadilov, working in the prosecutor's office, continues to serve for the benefit of the Motherland and ensures the strengthening of the rule of law in the transport sector, has been repeatedly encouraged by departmental awards.
