The Main Transport Prosecutor's Office and the Department of Economic Investigations in Nur-Sultan as a result of joint measures suppressed illegal actions of officials of the branch of JSC NC "KTZ".

On February 10 of this year, the head of the Balkhash distance of tracks of the branch of JSC NC "KTZ" gr-n T. was detained and subsequently arrested for 2 months with the court's sanction.

According to the investigation, the specified person, together with the officials established during the investigation, committed embezzlement of budget funds by failing to perform certain types of work on major repairs of the railway track. The total damage exceeded 92 million tenge.

A pre-trial investigation is underway.
