The head of the Transport Control Inspection was detained

The Main Transport Prosecutor's Office and the Central Office of the Anti-Corruption Service, as a result of joint measures, stopped the illegal actions of the leadership of the Transport Control Inspectorate in Nur-Sultan.

On February 8 of this year, the acting head of this inspection, Mr. K., was exposed, who is suspected of illegally receiving monetary rewards from Mr. Sh. for general patronage for its illegal activity in issuing fictitious certificates of passing technical inspection of vehicles.

During the search, funds in the amount of more than 2 million tenge were found and seized at the suspect's place of residence.

A pre-trial investigation is underway.
