More than 50 persons illegally brought to administrative responsibility

According to the results of the analysis of the North Kazakhstan Transport Prosecutor's Office, the facts of illegal bringing to administrative responsibility of citizens of the EAEU have been established.
In particular, the border service and the line police department of the North Kazakhstan Region brought EEU citizens to administrative responsibility under Article 517 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for being in the country without registration for more than 30 days.
However, according to the latest changes in the legislation, they can freely stay in Kazakhstan for up to 90 days.
Accordingly, the prosecution of persons was illegal.
According to the act of prosecutor's supervision, all 57 decisions of border guards and police were canceled, that is, the status of offenders was removed from citizens.
Worst of all, as established by the prosecutor's Office, the border service approved the time limit for citizens to pass border control. In other words, arriving foreign citizens were required to pass through passport control within 30 minutes, otherwise they would face administrative responsibility.
At the same time, there is no such requirement in the legislation of Kazakhstan, which in turn indicates an illegal restriction of the rights of citizens.
According to the act of the prosecutor's office, this requirement was canceled, and citizens were restored to their rights.
