Transport prosecutors revealed more than 200 facts of illegal crossing of the state border

Since may 13 this year, the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission under the Government has restricted the crossing of the state border to all foreign citizens, with the exception of those arriving for treatment in Kazakhstan's medical institutions.

The analysis of the transport Prosecutor's office established the facts of organizing illegal migration by issuing fake medical certificates of treatment in medical institutions in Kazakhstan for 232 citizens of Tajikistan.

At the initiative of the Prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated under article 394 part 2 of the Criminal code (organization of illegal migration), the investigation of which was entrusted to the linear Department of the Almaty airport police.

In relation to foreigners, the issue of registration of facts in the ERDR is resolved under article 392 of the Criminal code (intentional illegal crossing of the state border).
