Over a thousand notifications of an administrative violation of freight carriers canceled

As you know, special means for automated measurement of weight parameters (hereinafter - SAIS) of heavy vehicles are installed on highways. When the excess weight of the transported cargo is recorded, the relevant information is sent to the transport control inspection officers, who begin the proceedings on the merits. To do this, they send a notification of an administrative offense to the car owners, most of whom are engaged in business.

The study of complaints from freight carriers against the actions of employees of one of the inspectorates attracted the attention of transport prosecutors.
As a result, in the Akmola, Kokshetau and Zhambyl transport regions, together with the authorized government agencies, control measurements of the SAIS were carried out.
It turned out that due to a technical failure, the measuring device gave out inaccurate parameters, on the basis of which notifications of an administrative offense were sent to entrepreneurs.
A decision was immediately made to suspend their operation.
According to the acts of prosecutor's supervision, all issued 1,194 notifications of administrative offenses totaling 190 million tenge were canceled.

There are other examples of the work of mobile groups for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs of the Main Transport Prosecutor's Office.
Immediate reaction to the appeal of WKO entrepreneurs, the mobile group suppressed the fact of long-term checks by customs officers of 8 heavy vehicles. The cargo was released, the guilty were punished.
The Pavlodar branch of KTZ, without any legal basis, issued a ban on the loading of goods of entrepreneurs. After contacting the prosecutor's office, the branch's decision was canceled.
Thus, at all levels, the work of mobile groups is strengthened and focused on the adoption of operational measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs.
