The carp fingerlings grown in the Grain were released into the Yesil River in the city of Astana today

Today, in the area of the Central Park of Astana, more than 300 thousand pieces of carp fingerlings grown at the expense of the republican budget within the framework of the state order by the Zerendinsky fish nursery have been released into the Yesil River.
Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Akimat of Astana, public associations, scientific organizations and mass media, as well as residents of the capital took part in the stocking.
The annual stocking is carried out in order to preserve and sustainably use the fish resources of natural reservoirs, as well as to create recreational conditions for residents of the capital to relax, so that everyone can go to the city embankment with a fishing rod, relax in their free time and enjoy the fish caught.
It should be noted that fish-breeding enterprises have released about 80 million pieces of juveniles of valuable fish species into the reservoirs of Kazakhstan since the beginning of this year as part of the state order.
In addition, by the end of October, it is planned to release about 20 million more pieces of juveniles into the reservoirs of the Aral-Syrdarya, Balkhash-Alakol, Zaisan-Ertis and Yesil basins.
