The Head of State received the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nysanbayev
During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of instructions on the implementation of new environmental legislation and the conservation of Natural Resources.
The president instructed to take special control over the implementation of the plan to reduce emissions of large enterprises, as well as the introduction of an automated system for monitoring emissions at these facilities.
The head of state noted the need to take systematic measures to improve the material and technical base of departmental organizations under the ministry and to implement systems for early detection of forest fire foci in national parks as soon as possible, as well as to improve the skills of forestry workers.
At the same time, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the importance of implementing a large-scale tree planting program and developing comprehensive approaches to solving the problem of chaotic landfills.
