Information on the progress of the execution of the President's instructions
🔖In September 2021, during the XVII forum of interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan instructed to work out the possibility of creating a State Natural Reserve in the northern Caspian to preserve the Caspian seal population.
📌To date, by order of the Department of the authorized body, the natural-scientific justification for the creation of a state Natural Reserve has been approved.
🔉On the basis of the Natural Science justification, work is currently underway to develop a feasibility study for the creation of a state Natural Reserve, for which funds were allocated as part of the clarification of the Republican budget for 2023. Currently, a competition has been announced on the public procurement portal to determine the supplier for the development of a feasibility study.
ðŸ¦Based on the results of the activities carried out within the water area of the Caspian Sea, it is expected to create a state Natural Reserve to preserve the population of the Caspian seal as an independent legal entity with the appropriate staff.
