On the seizure of Red Book fish species and Caspian seal for scientific research

In accordance with the procedure established by the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 16, 2023:
1) individuals of the Caspian seal, which are subsequently sent to their natural habitat for construction and scientific research;
2) seizure of Aral Sea Elephant, Aral Sea and Siberian sturgeon for the purposes of scientific research, including for the formation of repair and breeding herds and their subsequent artificial reproduction.
These works are carried out in order to investigate and restore stocks of fish species and other aquatic animals listed in the Red Book.
The government decree will enter into legal force on March 31, 2023.

List of documents required to obtain a permit:
* electronic copy of the justification for conducting scientific work
* research programs;
* electronic copy of calculations, justification of forecasts, volume of seizure of wildlife objects;
* an electronic copy of the report on the results of using previously issued permits (in the case of issued permits).
