Information about the death of fish in the Shardara reservoir
On March 6, 2023, during the raid event, fish inspectors of the Aral-Syrdarya interregional Basin fisheries inspection, Turkestan Fish Inspection Department found fish fry on the shore of Section No. 1 of the Shardara reservoir of the Turkestan region, and also recorded the fact of fish death.
During the visual examination of the horses, changes in the scaly cover from the Fry were known. Most of them are crucian carp and carp, the weight of which is on average 20-80 grams.

The inspection notified all interested authorities in accordance with the scheme of interaction when the risk of death and (or) death of fish is detected. The veterinary service in the city of shardara took samples of fry for laboratory tests.

It should be noted that on April 5, 2022, fish deaths occurred on the shore of Section No. 2 of the Shardara reservoir (assigned to Vita LLP) in the Turkestan region. According to the results of the study, the death of fish occurred as a result of infectious diseases (dermatomycosis). At the same time, the competent authorities determined that the water and fish in this reservoir are suitable for public consumption and do not pose any danger to the health of people.
