The first meeting of the working group on the development of the draft law "On aquaculture" was held

According to the Plan of legislative works of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023, the introduction of draft laws "On aquaculture" and "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on aquaculture" to the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan is scheduled for November 2023.

In this regard, on January 19, 2023, the first meeting of the working group on the development of draft laws was held.

The composition of the working group, which included representatives of business, public organizations, NCE Atameken, government agencies and other interested persons, was approved by Order No. 12-O of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 18, 2023.

This draft law will serve to form a regulatory framework and introduce legal mechanisms to regulate relations in the field of aquaculture, introduce new instruments of state support measures to create favorable conditions for business.
