A ROUND TABLE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF FISHERIES WAS HELD IN MANGYSTAU REGION

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the Mangystau region on September 22, 2021 instructed entrepreneurs to create favorable conditions for the cultivation and processing of fish in the region.

In addition, at a meeting with residents of the Mangystau region on November 7, 2022, the head of state instructed to create a state natural reserve on the Caspian Sea and strengthen the fight against poaching.

In this regard, on December 20, 2022, a round table was held under the chairmanship of Akim of the Mangystau region Nogaev N.A. in order to discuss issues of fisheries.

📍Which was attended by the subjects of the fisheries of Almaty, Atyrau, Karaganda, Mangystau, Turkistan regions, representatives of potential investors and government agencies. At the meeting, fisheries entities from different regions spoke about their farms and exchanged experiences.

Head of the Aquaculture Development Department of the Fisheries Committee M. M. Gabbasov informed about the measures of state support in the fisheries.

Following the results of the round table, Akim of Mangystau region Nogaev N.A. called for the joint development of fisheries in the region and noted that the relevant work on the development of the industry will continue.
