The name of Utegaliev Y.M. is assigned to one of the streets in the Atyrau region

One of the streets in Atyrau was named after the First Minister of Fisheries of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic Isaac Makhmudovich. Deputy Chairman of the Fisheries Committee Almas Serikbaevich took part in the naming ceremony.

 

In his speech, the deputy chairman said: "his career began at the collective farm "red fish" in Atyrau region and as the First Minister of Fisheries of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, he made a special contribution to the development of the industry. Under the leadership of Isaac Utegaliyev, the production and technical base of the fisheries of the Republic was reconstructed, fish plants and fish factories with refrigeration plants and pond farms were built and put into operation in the regions. In addition, he initiated the approval of the program for the reproduction of sturgeon in the Ural-Caspian basin system. Today, the street is named after the First Minister of Fisheries Utegaliyev Isaac Makhmudovich. In this regard, I congratulate my close relatives on this significant day. In addition, on the initiative of the chairman of the Fisheries Committee, the ship at the Ural-Atyrau Sturgeon hatchery was named after Isaac Utegaliyev and was given special honors.
