On September 30, 2022, in the Mangystau region in the city of Aktau, under the chairmanship of Vice-Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Shalabekova A.L., a meeting was held on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State on the development of fisheries in the region.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the authorized body for the development of fisheries, the Akimat of the Mangystau region, the Association of Fisheries-BD, fisheries entities and potential investors.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Fisheries Committee, N.T. Zhunusov, informed those present about the measures of state support for fish farming, as well as the favorable conditions created for the subjects of fisheries and the improvement of legislation.
Also, the head of the Fisheries Department of the Mangystau region, A.B. Muldashev, reported on the progress of the promotion of investment projects in the field of fisheries.
All participants of the meeting discussed problematic issues that were taken under the control of the Ministry for their further solution.
In addition, the Vice Minister got acquainted with the work of existing fish farms, as well as visited the places of implementation of investment projects for fish farming.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources, together with the akimats of the regions, are constantly coordinating and monitoring ongoing and planned investment projects in the field of fisheries.
