507 kilograms of dead fish were collected from Almagambet Lake

This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Fisheries Committee of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ayan Bakhiyanov during a briefing at the press site, the Regional Communications Service of Atyrau region reports.

- Due to the rapid approach of water to the lake and the rapid return of fish, they got stuck among gulls on the shelves. 65 kilograms of fish corpses were collected from Lake Bezymyannoe, 507 kilograms were collected from Lake Almagambet at the last count. However, the work is still ongoing. Currently, 40 employees of the Zhaiyk-Caspian Basin Inspection and 8 workers of the village of Alga are working in this direction, A. Bakhiyanov said.

And the head of the regional fisheries department Artur Saribekovich noted that if there are more than 200 reservoirs in the region, then about 70 of them are among the dangerous ones, and they are under strict control.
