A criminal case has been opened in Aktobe region against two citizens who caused damage to nature in the amount of more than half a million tenge

In the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region, two residents who carried out illegal fishing during the fishing ban were detained. They were identified by fish protection inspectors during joint activities with law enforcement agencies within the framework of the fish protection campaign "Spawning-2022". Fish (carp, pike, perch) with a total weight of 44 kilograms, 10 polyamide monofilament nets and 1 inflatable rubber boat were seized from the violators. Thus, damage to nature in the amount of 519,846 tenge was caused.

It should be noted that fishing is prohibited on the section of the Torgai River in the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region during the spawning period. Also, this site belongs to a specially protected natural area. Now this fact is registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations (ERDR). Irgiz district Police Department conducts a pre-trial investigation under paragraph 6 of Part 3 of Article 335 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
