According to the Whatsapp messenger, information was received about the death of fish on the "Plate" reservoir in Kostanay.
According to the scheme of interaction, when a threat and (or) death of animals was detected, a joint visit to the reservoir was carried out by specialists of the RSU "Tobol-Torgai Interregional Basin Inspection of Fisheries", the State Institution "Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the Akimat of Kostanay Region" and the Northern branch of the Scientific and Production Center of Fisheries LLP.

During the examination of the reservoir on the site of the right and left side of the walking pier along the shore of the reservoir, a dead fish was found - a juvenile carp with an average weight of 15 grams. All the fallen fish were collected in bags with a total weight of 17 kg.

Extraneous odors and changes in the color of the water have not been established. Samples of fallen fish and water were taken from the place of death for laboratory research. At the place of the death of fish, the Akimat of the city of Kostanay organized work on the collection of dead fish and their disposal.
All the fallen fish were transferred to the State Enterprise "Veterinary Station" of Kostanay for destruction.

The causes of fish death will be determined after the results of laboratory research.

For reference: The reservoir "Plate" is located in the city of Kostanay in the microdistrict "Airport". It is not fixed for fisheries management, it is not included in the list of fishery reservoirs of local significance. The estimated area of the reservoir is 3 hectares . Average depth, 1 meter. In winter, it freezes to the bottom.
