S. BREKESHEV SIGNED A MEMORANDUM WITH SWISS COMPANIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF FISHERIES

Today, Minister of Ecology Serikkali Brekeshev signed a Memorandum of cooperation on the development of sturgeon breeding in Kazakhstan with representatives of the Swiss company "Caviar House & Prunier Group SA" and "Swiss Choice Holding SA".
The head of the department announced this on his personal Twitter page: "We have signed a memorandum on the development of fisheries with the Swiss companies Caviar House & Prunier Group SA and Swiss Choice Holding SA.

The signing of the cooperation agreement with Switzerland was made possible thanks to the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Swiss Confederation and JSC NC KAZAKH INVEST.

The memorandum provides for an increase in the production of existing fish farms, the creation of new jobs, attracting investment, the introduction of advanced technologies in the development of the production of sturgeon caviar and the creation of a new channel for the sale of caviar "Qazaq" on the international market.
It should be noted that Switzerland, thanks to effective management and planning, occupies a leading position in the field of fisheries.
"We highly appreciate the opportunity to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with your company. I am convinced that our cooperation will allow us to introduce the best technologies in the development of the production of sturgeon caviar and create a new channel for the sale of Kazakh caviar on the domestic and international market," the minister said.
Recall that last year the Government of Kazakhstan adopted a Program for the development of fisheries for 2021-2030, within which the Ministry of Ecology is working on the implementation of investment projects, including the creation of a fish farm for the cultivation of sturgeon species and the production of their caviar.
