ANC ONLINE FESTIVAL HAS ENDED, DEDICATED TO ABAY

On August 10-11, the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan held a Republican online poetry festival dedicated to the holiday of Abay Day and the 175th anniversary of the Great poet.

The main goal of the event is to popularize the creative heritage of the poet-thinker and educator, expand the use of the state language.

It was planned that 175 representatives of ethnic groups from all regions of the country will take part in the festival.they will read 175 abayan poems in Kazakh and post them in video format on social networks.

However, the interest and attention to the work of the poet attracted a larger number of participants. As a result, the press service of the APK received 705 videos. Among them: 521-poems and translations of the poet,performed in the Kazakh language; 127-performed in other languages;126-fans of the poet's work performed songs of Abay and read words of edification.

Also participating in the online festival was the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Tuimebayev, who presented 37 words of edification of Abai.

Instagram Facebook, VK, Youtube, Telegramm of the regional structures of the APK and various information sites are all available on the Assembly's website and in the social networks Facebook, Instagram, VK, Youtube.

In addition, on Abai Day, scientists and experts of the APK discussed the importance of the article by the President of Kazakhstan K. K. Tokayev "Abai-spiritual reformer" and published more than 50 comments in the national media.

In the Newspapers "Elementa" and "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" published the article of the Deputy President of the ANC J. He was appointed as the "Abidi Tanita of borisimus" and "the Heritage of Abai – spiritual placedinto".

Also on August 10, the Assembly organized an international conference "Abay: history and modernity" with the participation of Abay scholars and historians from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

In General, 27,795 representatives of ethnic groups took part in the events of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan dedicated to Abai Day on the scale of the Republic, 965 experts, scientists and historians attended the online conference via Facebook and the Zoom platform.
