The working methods of the Finnish auditors were studied by the staff of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A delegation of the Supreme Audit Chamber headed by Yuliya Engel, a member of the SAC, arrived in Helsinki on a working visit to exchange experiences with the National Audit Office of Finland.

Within the program, the staff of the SAC of RK got acquainted with approaches of foreign colleagues for conducting various types of audit and human resource management, as well as their achievements in digitalization and data analysis.

During the experience exchange, issues such as the methodology and processes of financial audit, performance audit and environmental audit, implementation of recommendations based on audit results, etc. were discussed.

During a meeting with the Auditor General of Finland, Sami Yläoutinen, Yuliya Engel noted that the interaction of the supreme audit institutions of the two countries is developing constructively both in a bilateral format and on the basis of international organizations INTOSAI and EUROSAI.

“Many years of advanced experience of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Finland, as an active member of international audit communities and an institution that successfully carries out state audit, is very important to us”, — noted Yuliya Engel.

For his part, Auditor General Sami Yläoutinen welcomed the Kazakh delegation and presented the development strategy of the National Audit Office of Finland for the coming years.

At the end of the event, the parties expressed confidence in the fruitful development of cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of Kazakhstan and Finland.
