The SAC has already been elected twice as a member of the relevant Audit Committee. This time, the audit of the accounts of the Organization's Secretariat, which includes the supreme audit institutions of 48 countries, was conducted jointly with the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It took place in April this year at its headquarters in China.

According to the audit results, it was found that the professionalism and financial discipline of the ASOSAI Secretariat are at a high level. The financial statements have been prepared and presented in accordance with international standards IFRS and IPSAS. At the same time, the members of the Audit Committee made their recommendations on further improving the management of the Organization's funds.

Within the framework of the Assembly, representatives of the Secretariat and working bodies of ASOSAI also made reports on activities over the past period. In particular, the holding of the 9th meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Auditing in Astana in 2023 was highly noted.

At the same time, the delegation of the Supreme Audit Chamber, headed by Rassul Rakhimov, the Member of the SAC, held bilateral meetings and negotiations with representatives of the supreme audit institutions of India, Indonesia, Korea, Russia, the Philippines and Japan. In particular, the issues of developing bilateral cooperation, training and professional development of state auditors were discussed.

In addition, the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission on Audit of the Philippines.
